So today I was watching Sportscenter and all they talked about all damn day was how Ryan Miller should start tonight because the Sabres were playing Sidney fucking Crosby and the Penguins. Big rematch of the gold medal game of the Olympics and all that shit. Where was all this interest in fucking hockey for the past 6 years??? Plus, Miller just played 6 games in 13 days in a tournament of the biggest stars in the world, and was awesome. Let the guy get a night off.
Plus, the Pens-Sabres game wasn't even on national television (NBC or Versus), so it wasn't like anybody outside Pittsburgh and Buffalo were going to watch the game. And, I don't classify Versus as national television.
So, thank you Olympics for making America care again. Maybe this will push god damn television networks to put hockey on as much as fucking football (which is on 5 total networks, counting NFL Network).
